I am not sure where to begin or how. My daughter works for RAAP Rape Assistance and Awareness Program in Denver Colorado. Her job is a non profit job and she has been at it for 3.5 years full time.
Here is the question, she needs help, she had to take out all of the student loans available and now has a $400.00 month bill. very old car on its last legs and credit card bill around $10,000.00 because she only makes $32,000.00 a year and since the beginning; the cuts backs have been hard ,cost of living goes up and as the cost of her own health care goes up the paycheck does not. She want to stay with her job, it is very rewarding for her and what she does is unbelievable but being a non profit it does not help with the bills, she is thinking very seriously of leaving and going to a higher paying non helpful job:
My question is since she has chosen such a job can the government help to make her loans disappear?
Not sure where to start but I would think it is as important, here job, as is teaching and medical.
